Delete your EzzyBooks account

How to ask

• On the web: sign in with your mobile number and the code we send, then confirm on the Delete account page.
• In the Android app: More › Delete account.

We record your request and the Samurai Labs platform team processes it within 30 days. Asking twice in one day records it once.

What is deleted

• Your sign-in: your mobile number, name and email are removed from your account, and every device is signed out.
• Your membership of each business you belong to.
• If you are the only owner of a business, that business is closed and can no longer be signed in to.

What is kept, and why

Accounting books and GST records — invoices, bills, payments, vouchers, journals and the reports made from them — are kept for the period Indian law requires (8 years), even after your account is deleted. Other members of a business keep their access to its books. Sign-in records are kept for 90 days.

Nothing happens by accident

Asking does not delete anything immediately. A person on the platform team handles every request.
